'Arsenal is a great club' - Agent of priority target gives Gunners fans hope
The agent of Moises Caicedo has spoken about the transfer rumours linking his client to Arsenal.
The Gunners will look to strengthen their squad in the summer in hopes of challenging for the Premier League again next season and of going on a deep European run. To do this, they reportedly want to bring in another midfielder.
Though they are considered the favourites to sign Declan Rice, they may be put off by the €120 million price tag West Ham have slapped on their star man. Instead, Arsenal could reignite their interest in Brighton breakout star Moises Caicedo.

Indeed, the Gunners were already courting the Ecuadorian in January, but after a heated battle for his signature with Chelsea, neither London club came away with him. Brighton refused to let another star man leave after Leandro Trossard had already signed for Arsenal, and they even managed to tie Caicedo down to a new long-term contract.
This has not deterred the Gunners, however, and they have repeatedly been tipped to make another move for him this summer.
What did Caicedo's agent say?
Now, Caicedo's agent has decided to speak out on the rumours surrounding the Brighton star. In an interview with Arsenalinformer, Manuel Sierra said: "Arsenal is a great team for everyone; let’s see what happens in the summer, there are many clubs keen on Moises."
This will give Gunners fans hope, but his recently-signed new deal could prove a substantial roadblock: "Moises has 4 years left on his contract. He’s having an incredible season, so it’s normal that there are many clubs interested in him."

"Now," Sierra continued, "he’s completely focused on the last part of the season; all evaluations will be postponed until the summer. This is not a surprise because there aren’t many other midfielders so young and talented around Europe."
"I believe he can really improve in every aspect of the game," Sierra concluded. "He can slot into any [team] as he is ready for it all. His dream is to play in the Champions League and to reach as far as he can in football. His idol? [N'Golo] Kante."
