What a week it has been for Mykhaylo Mudryk - and this isn't meant in a good way.

The Ukrainian's week went from bad to worse at Old Trafford as he again became the centre of attention for all the wrong reasons. Chelsea's big-money January signing has struggled to have any kind of impact since his arrival, and in fact, most headlines about him have been decidedly negative.

The 22-year-old was called out earlier in the week by fitness influencer Joey Swoll after uploading an unflattering video of a gym member to his Instagram stories. Then, on Thursday evening against Manchester United, Mudryk was clear through on goal and was served the ball on a platter by youngster Lewis Hall, only to miss it completely, keeping the score at 0-0.

Mere moments later, United went down the other end and scored, and Chelsea never recovered. The Ukrainian was hooked after 64 minutes after another ineffectual showing. Chelsea went on to lose 4-1.

Blues fans were left fuming by Mudryk's performance, while some used the Joey Swoll controversy to make fun of the 22-year-old.
