Chelsea BOMBSHELL: Pochettino wants Barcelona star
Mauricio Pochettino wants to bring Barcelona star Gavi to Chelsea, according to reports in Spain.
The Argentine has not yet been officially announced as the Blues' new coach for next season, yet rumours about potential signings are already abounding. The expectation is that the 51-year-old will be unveiled as the new boss at Stamford Bridge this week and this could have quite the impact on Chelsea's summer business.
Besides the fact that a Pochettino hire could seal the deal on N'Golo Kante's fresh contract given the 'bromance' between the two, there is also the issue of the bloated squad that the coach will have at his disposal.

With Chelsea under Financial Fair Play scrutiny, they will have to offload some of their deadwood in order to be able to bring in some of Pochettino's favoured players.
If reports in Spain are to be believed, one of the players eyed by the Argentine is a Barcelona star who has previous with the Blues.
Gavi at the Bridge after all?
Teenage sensation Gavi had been linked repeatedly with a move to Stamford Bridge in bygone months due to the uncertainty surrounding his contract which allegedly allows him to leave Barcelona for free if they are unable to register him as a first-team player due to their poor economic situation.
Those rumours have died down of late, but fresh claims made by Fichajes state that Pochettino wants the 18-year-old to join him in London.

The report also remarks, however, that the Spaniard has no intention of leaving the Camp Nou, and why would he seeing as though he is an integral part of Xavi's title-winning squad.
Ultimately, though, it may not be fully up to him because if Barcelona can't sort out their finances and thus can't register him, he may have to look for playing time elsewhere.
