Liverpool set sights on FOUR Bundesliga stars, including a Ten Hag favourite
Liverpool are set to target a string of Bundesliga stars as their new transfer specialist Jorg Schmadtke settles into his role this summer.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has a sizeable task on his hands in the weeks ahead as he attempts to make Liverpool not just a top-four side once again but one capable of challenging Manchester City for the Premier League title.

The Reds have come up well short this season and will be guaranteed to finish fifth should Manchester United take even a point against Chelsea in Thursday’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
Schmadtke arrives from Wolfsburg on a short-term deal and, according to Sport Bild, already has his eyes on several Bundesliga players who might be able to make the jump to Liverpool and enhance a squad that has finished the season strongly.

Gravenberch leads Liverpool’s Bundesliga targets
According to the German paper, the player that Schmadtke most wants at Liverpool is Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, who is a favourite of Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
Although Gravenberch is considered to have potential even greater than that of Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, the prospect of a deal being brokered is unlikely given Bayern are reticent to sell. Even if they were open to a deal, Man Utd would likely to be willing to pay bigger for the Netherlands international.
It is worth pointing out, however, that Liverpool have been linked with Gravenberch for several weeks, with rumours of a deal first emerging late in the January transfer window.
Liverpool are also eyeing Josko Gvardiol, RB Leipzig’s Croatia centre-back. FootballTransfers’ information is that Manchester City are keen on the 21-year-old and will, therefore, be difficult to beat in a transfer battle.
Likelier targets are Borussia Monchengladbach’s Florian Neuhaus and Daichi Kamada of Eintracht Frankfurt, who is out of contract at the end of the season and has attracted interest from all over the continent.
