Ten Hag ‘frustrated’ as Man Utd face summer of transfer chaos
Manchester United face a summer of “chaos” in the transfer market because of the uncertainty lingering over the club.
Erik ten Hag is set to have his transfer budget frozen, according to a report in the Mirror, which states that the Old Trafford club’s progress threatens to stall over the Glazers’ indecision over the sale of the club.
Interested parties have now had to take part in three rounds of bidding, and though these have now closed, it is unclear if and when a takeover might take place with just a month before the summer transfer window opens.

United have made strides forward under Ten Hag this season, although a top-four finish is not yet secured, but the former Ajax boss is “concerned” and “frustrated” that the momentum the Red Devils have built will now stall.
While there is excitement that the prospect of a takeover led by Sheikh Jassim could lead Man Utd to land a world star like Kylian Mbappe, more modest transfer targets such as Harry Kane of Tottenham and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen are, for the moment, off the table.

Ten Hag target ruined
Ten Hag, though, wanted to be able to build for the next season rapidly, yet the uncertainty hanging over the club means that this will be impossible.
It is stated that “United are on the back foot and in turmoil compared with some rivals as the season draws to a close.”
While Man Utd’s transfer budget has been frozen, the club has been put in a state of stasis, with leading backroom officials such as Richard Arnold unable to give proper direction because their roles, too, are under scrutiny.
Ten Hag’s hopes of concluding his transfer business as early as possible in the summer already appear to be thwarted, which is set to test the Dutchman again as he builds a squad to go better in the Premier League next season.
