Man Utd wonderkid wanted by Dutch champions Feyenoord
Feyenoord are again considering the signing of Amad Diallo from Manchester United, claims Dutch outlet 1908.
The 20-year-old right winger was already on the radar of the Rotterdam outfit in the summer of 2021 and is now a candidate to provide the frontline of Feyenoord with new impetus following their title win. However, the Eredivisie champions seem to have more competition in the battle for his signature this time around.
In August 2021, Feyenoord and Manchester United agreed on a loan transfer - even including an option to buy - for Diallo to move to De Kuip, but disaster struck at a training session and an injury put an end to the deal.

"We did everything we could, it was done, but now he is so injured that he cannot come. Sometimes it's nice, such a transfer window, and sometimes it's not," said the then-technical director Frank Arnesen at the time, before he brought Reiss Nelson from Arsenal in as an alternative.
Amad wanted again
According to 1908, internal meetings at Feyenoord are taking place these days about whether or not to concretise the interest in Diallo, whose name has always been floated in the offices of the Rotterdam club.
No new concrete contact with Manchester United has yet been made, but an eventual bid can certainly not be ruled out, claims the Dutch outlet. Diallo has, however, made such a good impression in the recently concluded season that it is certainly not a foregone conclusion that he will still sign a (loan) contract with Feyenoord.

Diallo, who transferred to Manchester United from Atalanta for €21 million in January 2021, scored 14 goals and produced four assists in 42 outings for Championship side Sunderland this season. His contract with the Red Devils runs until 2025 with the option to extend it for another year.
Sunderland reportedly would like the Ivorian international to stay longer. The right winger is said to be open to this, provided that manager Tony Mowbray is also in the dugout next season.
