Feyenoord fear Slot's departure as Tottenham links grow
Feyenoord seriously believe that Tottenham-linked head coach Arne Slot will leave after this season.
He is the favourite to succeed the sacked Antonio Conte at Spurs. The UK media are positive that Tottenham will soon talk to the Feyenoord boss about a possible collaboration.
“A lot of people in football think he's going to get the job," says David Ornstein of The Athletic.

After Julian Nagelsmann, among others, refused the Tottenham manager role, the seventh-placed side in the Premier League now seem to be going all out for Slot, who is still tied to Feyenoord until mid-2025.
The 45-year-old trainer is on the shortlist at Spurs, together with Ruben Amorim (Sporting CP) and Ange Postecoglou (Celtic) but is considered the clear preferred option of the London side’s board.

Tottenham’s long-standing Slot interest
Slot has been in the interest of Tottenham Hotspur for a while now, but the alarm bells have now also gone off at Feyenoord. According to the English media, the team from Rotterdam is starting to believe that the coach will leave after this season.
Feyenoord will make one last attempt to tempt Slot to stay longer with an improved contract. He could earn no less than €3.5 million on an annual basis at the Rotterdam club. With this, the coach would become the best-paid coach ever of his side. This is, however, unlikely to match an offer from Spurs.
To separate Slot from De Kuip, Tottenham will also have to go to the negotiating table with the Rotterdammers, who are set to ask for a considerable lump sum to allow their manager to leave.
He was appointed coach of Feyenoord in mid-2021 and reached the final of the Conference League last season. Last week, Slot put the crown on his work by winning the club’s 16th Eredivisie title, winning 24 of their 32 games to date and suffering only a single defeat.
