‘Come to Arsenal’ - Gunners fans beg Caicedo not to become another Mudryk
Arsenal fans have taken to the social media account of Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo to plea with the Ecuador international to complete his transfer to the Emirates club and reject Chelsea’s approaches.
The Gunners have been close to a deal for Caicedo since January when it appeared that they would secure his signature only for the Seagulls to block the deal.
Brighton are confident that Mikel Arteta’s side will return with a bid that will allow them to complete a deal for the player – but Chelsea have emerged as a force in this transfer race since that point and may instigate a bidding war.

The Blues have already shown their financial muscle compared to their London rivals. In the January transfer window, they outbid Arsenal to sign Mykhailo Mudryk in a deal that appeared to be in the palm of the Gunners’ hands.
Now there is a fear from Arsenal’s perspective that history could be repeating itself with Caicedo.

Arsenal fans fear Caicedo to Chelsea
The 21-year-old is presently on holiday in the USA and on Monday tweeted a picture of himself in New Jersey.
Arsenal supporters have hijacked the comments to beg the midfielder to join Mikel Arteta’s side and reject the advances of the Stamford Bridge side, who failed to even finish in the top half of the Premier League table last season. Indeed, such has been the reaction to the post, “Come to Arsenal” has trended on Twitter.
“You know what to do,” one Arsenal fan tweeted.
Another added: “Rejected Chelsea, the smallest club in London!”
One more pointed out that the vehicle that Caicedo was pictured getting out of is identical to the one that new Arsenal signings invariably use when signing for the club.
Caicedo had been expected to cost around the £70 million mark – but Chelsea’s arrival on the scene could force both the transfer fee and Caicedo’s wage demands up.
