Chelsea 'expected to bid' for third player after Caicedo and Jackson
Chelsea are close to concluding deals to bring Moises Caicedo and Nicolas Jackson to Stamford Bridge, but their summer transfer spending isn't expected to end there…
Mauricio Pochettino is already making his mark at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues closing on a number of important transfers.
Brighton midfielder Caicedo has publicly flirted with Arsenal since they had a bid of £70 million knocked back in January, but the Blues are now at "advanced stages" of negotiations with the Ecuadorian, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

Jackson has emerged as the surprise candidate to lead the line next season, meanwhile, the Senegal striker having scored nine goals in his last eight La Liga games with Villarreal. As reported on Saturday, a €36m transfer is close.
And another midfield reinforcement alongside Caicedo is now in-bound.
"Chelsea are expected to bid for the Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga, who has a £34m [€40m] release clause," report The Guardian.
Real Madrid had regarded Veiga as an alternative to Jude Bellingham in the event they lost the race for the England midfielder's signature, but having signed the Borussia Dortmund youngster for an initial €103m, Chelsea should have a clearer run at Veiga.

There is interest from throughout the Premier League, however, with Liverpool and Newcastle also linked with bids in recent months.
Veiga is a more attacking midfielder than Caicedo, and has averaged three shot-creating actions per 90 minutes for Celt Vigo in La Liga over the last year, as well as scoring 11 of his own last term.
Chelsea need to rejuvenate in midfield this summer. Jorginho left for Arsenal in January and his long-time partner N'Golo Kante is now set to move to Al-Ittihad on a €100m-a-year deal. Mateo Kovacic is closing on a move to Manchester City, meanwhile.
