EXCLUSIVE: Man Utd want ANOTHER star midfielder after Mount
Manchester United are eyeing another midfielder in addition to Mason Mount.
FootballTransfers has been told that Chelsea star Mason Mount won't be the only high-profile midfield arrival at Old Trafford should Erik ten Hag get his way.
There were concerns among Man Utd personnel that the ongoing takeover saga has negatively impacted the club in terms of transfer dealings, but the Red Devils will be hoping that the news of securing a deal for the Chelsea midfielder will kickstart their summer business, albeit belatedly.
We understand that Erik ten Hag wants to bring in a top midfielder in addition to Mount ahead of their pre-season tour. He is also keen on a new goalkeeper and a forward, but it’s the centre of the park that is of most concern to the Dutchman.

There is enough money to bring in a blockbuster signing on top of Chelsea midfielder Mount, with Man Utd now reportedly agreeing a deal worth £55m plus £5m in add-ons (€64m + €5.8m) for the Blues star.
Their finances will be bolstered by the mass exodus set to happen this window, with a large number of players earmarked to depart and be replaced by new blood.
The first team squad are back in training next week on July 10 and Ten Hag wants at least three additions to the club by then.
The boss knows the importance of having a good chunk of time to gel with the squad and implement his system to new players ahead of a new campaign.

We are told that Erik ten Hag hopes to team him up with fellow Argentina teammate Lisandro Martinez.
The Dutchman feels the connection they have playing together for the national team will benefit Man Utd’s defence next season.
Chelsea are also interested in the goalkeeper - with compatriot Mauricio Pochettino said to be keen on the World Cup winner.
