Man Utd midfielder Zidane to leave in transfer window
Manchester United midfielder Zidane Iqbal is expected to leave the club this window with several clubs keen, FootballTransfers has learnt.
The 20-year-old is currently being monitored by clubs in the Championship, League One, as well clubs in the Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal.
There is no indication yet whether the move will be a loan or a permanent switch but we understand that the player will be assessing all options while club sources have told us that they would prefer to see the youngster head out on a temporary basis and make a return in 2024.
Iqbal is in search of game time, having made just one senior appearance for Man Utd, and his clear talent and huge potential mean that he has drummed up a string of interest across Europe and in the lower divisions of England.

Takeover saga
Man Utd are in the midst of an overhaul to the side but the takeover remains lingering on and so far there is no end in sight.
Reuters have reported that the Glazers have opted to make the Qatari group headed by Sheikh Jassim a preferred bidder but other journalists covering the ongoing saga have suggested that the process may take some time yet and potentially run into the start of the season.
The club finished in third spot in the Premier League and won the League Cup but some results during last season highlighted the drastic need to boost the squad ahead of next term.
Erik ten Hag is looking to move on a huge bulk on his side, as FootballTransfers reported last summer.
The likes of Fred, Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial, and captain Harry Maguire are likely to be sold for next term.
FootballTransfers’ Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) for Iqbal is €0.3million and the player is contracted to the Red Devils until 2025.
