Mbappe’s mother makes HUGE decision as Man Utd and Real Madrid rumours step up
Kylian Mbappe continues to be linked with a move away from PSG this summer, with any potential deal to be overseen by his mother Fayza Lamari, who also acts as his agent.
FootballTransfers has exclusively revealed that prospective Man Utd owner Sheikh Jassim held talks with Mbappe as long ago as January over the possibility of a summer move, while Real Madrid are also interested in Mbappe, who has refused to take up the option of a one-year extension to his PSG contract, which expires in 2024.
The World Cup winner has repeatedly underlined that he wants to stay with PSG for the 2023/24 season, though with relations at the club strained, that is not certain.

Mbappe’s mother to set up an agency
Lamari is currently advising the 24-year-old with regards his future – and Mbappe’s mother has ambitions of stepping up in the football world by starting her own agency, L’Equipe reports.
She also oversees the affairs of Ethan Mbappe, who is her younger son also on the books of PSG, albeit at U19 level.
But her first client from outside her immediate family could be another Real Madrid transfer target in the form of Lyon wonderkid Rayan Cherki. The attacker was also linked with a move to PSG in the January transfer window.

L’Equipe reports that several weeks ago, Cherki and Lamari came to an agreement whereby Mbappe’s mother will look after the 19-year-old’s affairs.
It is expected that FFF licensed agents will collaborate with this new business.
This news is unlikely to have any immediate impact on Kylian Mbappe’s future, with the likelihood being that the France striker will remain at PSG for next season before departing as a free agent in the summer of 2024.
