Man Utd make SHOCK move for Champions League final star
Manchester United have spoken to Inter Milan about the possible transfer of nascent left-back Federico Dimarco, according to reports.
Erik ten Hag is keen to bolster his squad this summer after leading United to the EFL Cup and a third-place finish in the Premier League last season - his first in the job.
Although he has two left-backs in his first-team squad in Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, the former has increasingly been used as cover at centre-back while the latter has struggled to convince since his €15 million arrival from Feyenoord last summer.

Di Marco impressed in Inter's run to the Champions League final - which they lost 1-0 to Manchester City on 10 June - contributing five assists in 11 games from left wing-back - and now United are ready to make a move.

Dimarco in demand
"Manchester United and Real Madrid have both spoken to Inter about wing-back Federico Dimarco, as the Serie A club face huge pressure to sell this summer," reports The Independent's Miguel Delaney.
"The Italy international was one of the Champions League's revelations this season and is seen as one of Inter's most marketable assets."

Dimarco rose to prominence this season after Ivan Perisic left for Tottenham Hotspur last summer, freeing up space on the left flank. His form was such that Robin Gosens was being linked with a move away from San Siro before Inter ran into financial difficulty.
Dimarco is currently valued at €14.8m by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm, but Inter are likely to ask for at least three times that amount after his starring role in Europe this season.
Real Madrid's interest will also drive up his price. Los Blancos have re-signed Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano, but it is understood they will listen to offers for Ferland Mendy whilst Eduardo Camavinga, a makeshift left-back this season, would like to be restored to midfield.
