Man Utd could sign goalkeeper target to play as striker!
Manchester United have found the solution to their goalscoring woes - in Andre Onana.
The Inter shot-stopper is one of the best in the world in his position, but he has now also shown his mettle as a goalscoring threat. While on vacation, Onana had a kickabout with friends and posted a video on his Instagram of himself scoring a well-taken strike.
Having been played through on goal, the Cameroon international shrugged off the defender and cooly slotted the ball past the hopeless keeper. It was a striker's finish and showed why he is such a sought-after player, and not just for his exploits between the sticks.

Onana is widely regarded as one of the best ball-playing goalkeepers around, being calm in possession and incredibly useful in the build-up phase. In that Instagram clip, he also showed his athleticism, sprinting past the defender, who admittedly gave up after getting beat.

Man Utd target Onana
Of course, we jest in saying that Onana will solve Manchester United's goalscoring woes, but he could be a solution to some pressing issues, albeit on the other side of the pitch.
David de Gea appears to be on his way out of Old Trafford, still not having signed a new contract. This means that, unless United want to keep Dean Henderson around, which seems highly unlikely, they will have to dip into the market and bring in a new goalkeeper.

Onana is the one most prominently linked, and he could be had for €50 million, according to reports. He would be the ideal option, having played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax and being perfectly suited to his style of play.
The question is, however, whether United are willing to pay that much for a goalkeeper while being on a restricted budget due to the ongoing takeover saga. A striker appears to be a bigger priority for the Manchester giants.
