Man Utd on alert as Inter identify Onana replacement
Man Utd could be moving a step closer to signing Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, with the Italian giants reportedly shortlisting potential successors.
Regardless of whether or not David de Gea extends his stay at Old Trafford, Man Utd seem likely to bring in a new number one this summer – and Onana is one of several ‘keepers said to be on their radar.
The 27-year-old Cameroonian – who retired from international duty last December – enjoyed a fine first season with Inter in 2022/23, helping Simone Inzaghi’s side reach the Champions League final and finish third in Serie A.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Keylor Navas, Hugo Lloris and Yann Sommer are all on Inter’s radar.
Navas spent the second half of last term on loan at Nottingham Forest – to cover for injured United loanee Dean Henderson – from PSG, where he is out of contract next summer, as is the case for Lloris at Tottenham.
Sommer, meanwhile, has two years left to run on his deal at Bayern Munich – who he joined from Borussia Monchengladbach in January following a season-ending injury to Manuel Neuer.

United to get Onana for knockdown price? O-nah
Onana – who Inter picked up as a free agent last summer after his departure from Ajax – currently has an Estimated Transfer Value of €17.6m (£15.1m).
However, the Nerazzurri are said to value him at up to €60m (£51.4m) – which would be the third-most expensive fee ever paid for a goalkeeper.
Chelsea – whose €80m move for Kepa Arrizabalaga back in 2019 is still a record for a ‘keeper – have also been linked with Onana – who kept 19 clean sheets in all competitions for Inter in 2022/23.
