Man Utd Transfer News Today: Caicedo INTEREST, Romano on DIALLO and Mason Greenwood BACK training
Man Utd are being linked with a shock transfer move for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo which would provide a massive double whammy for Chelsea.
United's main midfield target as they look to make summer signings is a Chelsea player - England international Mason Mount. But, according to The Guardian, the Red Devils are ready to change that if the Blues do not agree on what they believe is a fair fee.

If Man Utd did switch their attentions to Caicedo it would be a huge double blow for Chelsea. Not only would they lose out on a buyer for Mount, they would also potentially lose out on their own number one transfer target.
Amad Diallo DECISION looms for ten Hag - Fabrizio Romano
The future of Man Utd starlet Amad Diallo will be decided soon as Erik ten Hag ponders what to do with the exciting Ivorian.
Diallo, a £19m purchase from Atalanta in early 2021, has so far failed to break into the first team at Old Trafford. He did though wow Sunderland fans last season in a brilliant loan stint at the Stadium of Light.
Now Diallo would like a chance to fight for a first-team place back in Manchester, but the final decision will rest with ten Hag.
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, if United do decide again to loan out Diallo for 2023-24 a further spell in Sunderland would be the player's preferred option.
Amad Diallo’s future is still open. Man United will make final decision on Amad in the next weeks, he hopes for 1st team chance but it’s up to ten Hag. 🔴 #MUFC

Napoli wait for Man Utd to show Osimhen hand
Napoli want a staggering price for their superstar striker Victor Osimhen - but will any club be prepared to even come closing to matching their valuation?
The newly-crowned Italian champions want anything up to €180m for the man who scored 26 goals in 32 games last season to fire his team to a first Scudetto in 33 years.
According to respected local Naples outlet Il Mattino, Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is now waiting to see if Premier League interest materialises.
French giants PSG have already made an enquiry (and did not like the asking price), while de Laurentiis will be hoping that long-running interest from Man Utd and Chelsea will be followed up with bids.
In the meantime the president will meet with Osimhen imminently to discuss a contract extension. A two-year extension through to 2027 is on the cards, which would only strengthen Napoli's position at any negotiating table.
Man Utd could sell STARLET as part of Declan Rice deal
Man Utd have entered the race to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice in recent days, and full details of their reported offer is filtering through.
According to the Daily Mail, United are putting together a £100m package which would be part cash, part players.
We already knew that England defender Harry Maguire could be part of that package, but now reports suggest that striker Anthony Elanga could be another makeweight.
Mason Greenwood preparing for Man Utd return?
Mason Greenwood has reportedly been spotted training with a private coach as Man Utd weigh up a decision about his Premier League future.
The talented 21-year-old striker was suspended by the Red Devils after being charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Those charges were withdrawn earlier this year.
Now though United are deciding whether to allow Greenwood to return to his football career and he has been included on their retained list of players.
In the meantime Greenwood is working his way back to full fitness under the watchful eye of a private coach, according to The Mirror.
Dortmund want Man Utd star to replace Bellingham
Borussia Dortmund want Man Utd youngster Hannibal Mejbri as a potential Jude Bellingham replacement at the Signal Iduna Park according to reports.
Bellingham has joined Real Madrid from Dortmund for an initial €103 million, and although the Bundesliga club will be delighted with the fee, the England international's absence nonetheless leaves a hole in their midfield.
Dortmund have a recent track record of signing Premier League club's academy players - Jadon Sancho before Bellingham, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens since - and they are set to follow that model once again.

"It is understood the German side would be prepared to pay a fee in the region of €15 million, which would include performance-related add-ons."
Onana agent IN MANCHESTER for transfer talks
Man Utd's number one goalkeeper target to replace David De Gea is Inter's Andre Onana, and things are hotting up in the race to sign him
According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the Cameroonian shot stopper's agent Albert Botines has travelled to the UK to find out whether United will be making an offer for his client.
Reports suggest Inter's asking price for Onana would be around £50m - likely too much for the Red Devils with the club takeover saga continuing to rumble on at Old Trafford.
Man Utd join race for WONDERKID Adama Bojang
Man Utd are the latest club to register their interest in Gambian wonderkid Adama Bojang, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Gambian wonderkid is quickly becoming one of the world's most sought-after talents. His exploits, particularly for the U20 national team, have caught the attention of some of Europe's biggest sides, and it's not hard to see why.
Despite only recently turning 19, Bojang already has several years of senior football under his belt and he has already played a crucial role in the history of his club, Steve Biko FC. It was his brace back in 2021 that sent the Gambian side up to the top flight.
Since then, he has gone from strength to strength, his goals proving crucial in firing The Gambia to the final of the U20 African Cup.
Man Utd get De Gea replacement BOOST with Porto REVELATION
Manchester United have been handed a boost in their pursuit of a replacement for David de Gea, with Diogo Costa's current employers Porto running into financial trouble.
De Gea has been offered a new two-year deal which would see his salary drop from £375,000 a week to £200,000, but he is yet to sign it and United have stepped up their search for his replacement in recent weeks.
Inter Milan keeper Andre Onana is understood to be United's top target in the position, the Cameroonian having won the Dutch domestic treble under Ten Hag in 2019.
Costa had been top of United's list before signing a new contract with Porto in November that included a €75m release clause, but he could now be available for significantly cheaper.
"Porto have until 30 June to generate €50 million in player sales or risk severe sanctions from UEFA's Financial Fair Play," report Lisbon's football daily, A Bola, as relayed by Zach Lowy, who followed up in a Tweet with:
"Diogo Costa and Mehdi Taremi could be subject to a departure but I would think that Otavio could be gaining interest from various clubs as well. One of the best players in Portugal and has a release clause of €40m until 15 July."
