Man Utd Transfer News Today: Mbappe AUCTION, Romano on Mount LATEST and Osimhen DECISION
Man Utd are on red alert with French giants PSG hoping to start a summer transfer auction for their megastar striker Kylian Mbappe.
The 24-year-old superstar has told PSG he WILL NOT extend his Parc des Princes contract past the summer of 2024, and instead will leave as a free agent next summer.
PSG though are fuming at this development, and say if Mbappe does not renew his deal now, he will be sold this summer.

Real Madrid has always appeared to be Mbappe's likely destination, but they are sitting still and making no moves at all, with president Florentino Perez happy to wait to get Mbappe for free next year.
PSG's response - according to The Sun - is to whip up a huge transfer auction with the bidders coming from the Premier League.
On Tuesday there were rumours of a Liverpool bid (and Mbappe 'approval') while Man Utd are also waiting in the wings. The club's potential new owner Sheikh Jassim of Qatar is 'tempted' by Mbappe and has already held talks about a theoretical Old Trafford move.
The fee - of course - for Mbappe would be enormous, with PSG looking for a minimum of £250m for their prize asset. Wow...
Harry Kane AGREES transfer, but not to Man Utd
The Harry Kane derby is officially UNDER WAY after the Tottenham and England star AGREED a summer move. Just not to Man Utd.
The 29-year-old Kane, a long-term target for Erik ten Hag, has agreed a move to German giants Bayern Munich - if the two clubs can agree a fee.
Bayern have made a first offer of 70m to Spurs (rejected and no surprise there) but will return with another.
According to respected Bild journalist Christian Falk, Kane though has agreed his side of the transfer.
Bayern and Harry Kane have reached an agreement in principle on a transfer for this summer. the family of Kane (father and Brother) conducted the negotations. The prerequisite for the transfer is now: an agreement with Tottenham @BILD_Sport

Man Utd AGREE Mason Mount plan - Fabrizio Romano
The Mason Mount saga rumbles on, but it is still very much ALIVE and Man Utd have a plan to resolve it.
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils will meet Chelsea face to face this week in a bid to end the impasse.
United have offered £55m for the England midfielder, who will be a free agent in the summer of 2024. Chelsea though want £58m plus £7m in add-ons.
If direct talks bring about a thawing of the ice, we could have an actual Man Utd major transfer to report in the coming days.
Osimhen makes transfer DECISION ahead of huge move
It looks like Bayern Munich are going to be a huge thorn in Erik ten Hag's side this summer, and Victor Osimhen could be the latest reason.
The superstar Nigerian striker is hoping to leave Napoli after firing the club to its first Serie A title in 33 years. But where will he go?
According to Il Mattino, Osimhen feels Man Utd are focused on other goals while Chelsea are not in the Champions League next season, so a move to Bayern would be his best option.
Osimhen also wants to atone for a miserable spell in the Bundesliga at Wolfsburg in 2017-18, when the then teenager failed to score in 16 appearances.
Man Utd in HUGE FIGHT to sign 'the new Mesut Ozil'
The race to sign Turkish wonderkid Arda Guler is one of the hottest of the entire summer, and Man Utd are reportedly very much in the running.
The 18-year-old Fenerbahce star is available for a knockdown release clause of just 17.5m after turning down the chance to extend his contract with the Istanbul giants.
According to Spanish outlet AS, Clasico giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are both desperate to land Guler. But so are a number of Premier League big guns.
Those clubs per the report include Man Utd, Arsenal and Newcastle United.
Report: Man Utd WOULD NOT meet Rabiot demands
It is now official - Man Utd have again missed out on the signing of France midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Erik ten Hag is a long-term admirer of the 28-year-old star, but he keeps missing out on actually acquiring his services.
Rabiot was due to become a free agent when his current Juventus contract runs out this week, and United were again in the mix to sign him. Instead though he has elected to sign a new deal to stay in Turin for one more year.
Now the alleged details of WHY Rabiot did not come to Old Trafford are filtering out, and they appear to centre around his contract demands.
Per Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Rabiot's mother and agent Veronique was asking Man Utd for a three-year deal worth €10m per year NET (that is, after tax). And the powers that be at Old Trafford would not play at that level.
If you're wondering about the deal Rabiot has accepted to stay at Juventus, that is reportedly worth €7m plus easily achievable bonuses to take him to €8m.
