Pep Guardiola’s Man City quit date confirmed
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola wrote himself into footballing history once again when he led the Etihad club to Champions League success on Saturday, sealing a treble for the Etihad club.
Having taken City to the pinnacle of the game after seven years in charge, there had been questions over his future at the club in the immediate aftermath of the 1-0 win over Inter in Istanbul.
These were brushed aside by the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss, who spoke of “plugging in” again after the historic victory.

Guardiola told Ole: “This Champions League already gives meaning to the five Premier Leagues that we won. But it is also true that we need to go home, disconnect more than a little and knowing all of us, when the adrenaline starts again, we will plug in again.”
While Guardiola is set to be true to his word and see out his contract at Manchester City, The Guardian reports that once his current deal is up, he will leave the club.
This means that in two years, City will be looking for a new manager, with Pep’s agreement set to expire in 2025.

What will Guardiola do when he leaves Man City
According to the Guardian, Guardiola has shelved plans to take command of a Serie A club. It had been thought that he wanted to leave an Italian side in order to try to complete the set of big four European leagues.
It is unclear what his next move will be once he leaves City, with international football a possibility.
There may also be scope for Guardiola to go to one of the emerging leagues, such as a Saudi Pro League or MLS, where his Barcelona protégée Lionel Messi will play next season with Inter Miami.
In the meantime, though, Guardiola is focused on cementing Man City’s status as the best team in the world, with the Catalan aiming to build the foundations of a dynasty of success at the Etihad Stadium.
