Chelsea 'offered' star midfielder by former player
Chelsea have been 'offered' the chance to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to a report.
The midfielder's agent is former Chelsea man Mateja Kezman and he is currently in the midst of sounding out possible destinations for his client. According to CaughtOffside, one of the sides Kezman has offered Milinkovic-Savic to is his former club.
His client is keen to finally leave Lazio this summer after years of speculation about his future. Ever since he first burst onto the scene with the capital club, Milinkovic-Savic has been linked with a big-money move, with several Premier League clubs seemingly in the race to sign him every year.

This summer appears to be different - at last. With just one year left on his contract and no desire to extend, both Lazio and Milinkovic-Savic recognise that now would be the ideal time to move on in order to still flush some money into the club's coffers.
The 28-year-old has no shortage of suitors. The likes of Arsenal, Inter and Juventus have all been credited with an interest in him, but his €40 million price tag is an issue. With the exception of the Gunners, none of the clubs in question could foot this bill and going for him would also be a drastic departure from Arsenal's recent business of signing young players.
Chelsea enter the fray
With this in mind, Kezman has been in touch with several clubs to find a solution to this ostensible impasse. CaughtOffside claims that Chelsea would be open to a move, but other targets are much higher up on the agenda.
Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, for example, are of a higher priority to the Blues than the 28-year-old. Other Premier League clubs could yet enter the picture, however.

The report claims that Kezman also offered his client to other sides from the English top division though specific teams were not mentioned. There are surely other sides in the Premier League who would jump at the chance of signing a player like Milinkovic-Savic, but even they may baulk at Lazio's hefty asking price.
