Teammate Lukaku would ‘DIE FOR’ slams Chelsea striker
Lautaro Martinez has publicly admitted his “disappointment” with Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku over his attitude towards a transfer this summer.
Lukaku has had two previous spells at Inter Milan, the latest of which came last season as he spent a year at club on loan from the Blues.
Very much on the transfer market this summer, Inter had hoped to sign the Belgium international striker for a third time but the San Siro side feel he has been playing transfer games with them by opening secret talks with Juventus.

Inter supporters feel that they have been betrayed by the 30-year-old striker, who has played himself into a corner given that he has little apparent interest in joining the Saudi Pro League, while there have been no other credible offers in recent weeks.
But it is not just fans of the 2021 Serie A champions who have been left disappointed by the player’s attitude – their players are also frustrated by the manner in which Lukaku has treated them.
Lautaro Martinez has now gone public with his discontent in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Lukaku saga? I was disappointed by Romelu to tell you the truth. I tried to call him in those days of chaos but he never answered me – the same with my other teammates,” Lautaro explained.
“I was disappointed. But OK, well, it’s his choice.”
Lukaku ‘would die’ for Lautaro
Speaking in December 2021, Lukaku had previously indicated that he missed Lautaro during the infamous interview that threatened to end his Chelsea career just months after his return from Inter.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Lukaku said: “I miss Lautaro Martinez. I could die on the pitch for him since the first day I met him.”
Lukaku, whose likeliest summer destination is currently Juventus, scored 14 goals in 37 matches for Inter last season, having netted 15 in 44 for Chelsea in the previous campaign.
