Fluminense are willing to listen to offers for Fulham target Andre, but the side will not let the midfielder leave until the end of the Brazilian Serie A season.

We are told that Fulham is looking at the player, but his current side will not allow the 22-year-old to depart until the campaign ends in December. Fluminense wants €25m for 80% of Andre’s economic rights and future add-ons. We understand that a number of Premier League sides have made an initial approach, including Liverpool, but a deal would not be feasible unless the buying side is willing to wait until the winter window for the youngster to come in.

Marco Silva is believed to see Andre as the ideal companion for Joao Palinha and Harrison Reed in midfield, but a lot could depend on the extent of the Portuguese’s injury. Palinha dislocated his shoulder in the first half of Fulham's 3-2 win over Brentford in the Premier League Summer Series in Philadelphia on Sunday.

Fulham could well make an offer that extends Fluminense’s asking price to see a move realized. Liverpool, meanwhile, are lacking numbers in midfield, with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho set to move to clubs in Saudi Arabia. Andre would represent a minuscule fee in comparison to the likes of Southampton’s Romeo Lavia, but he is lacking Premier League experience. The midfielder was in the Brazilian league's team of the year for 2022 and is considered to be a huge talent in his home nation.

It comes after Silva turned down an approach from Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli to remain in west London ahead of the new season.

Silva has turned down Al Ahli but did not share that with reporters at a recent press conference.

"I answered for my club and I will not talk about this situation," he said. "I didn't come here to talk about offers and the situation.

"I told you before and I'll repeat again, I don't need to say many words here. I've showed my commitment to this football club. My commitment to the football club is total."
