EXCLUSIVE: Newcastle star Allan Saint-Maximin eyed by Saudi Arabia
Allan Saint-Maximin is being looked at by clubs in Saudi Arabia but is so far not convinced.
We are told that the Frenchman, who has an emotional connection to Newcastle, is however also open to offers, as are the club.
The Frenchman, who is on a €4.5million salary, has a desire to find a club in the Serie A if he was to leave Newcastle this window. Indeed, Saudi Arabia has been mooted as an option, with approaches made, but so far the player is not willing to make the move to a Pro League side.
Newcastle are looking at a right-sided centre-back. As we exclusively revealed, Newcastle had made an approach for Joachim Andersen, who they believe can deputise Fabian Schar next season. They have been put off by Crystal Palace’s asking price, however.

“I think he’s got versatility in his game so I think he can play various roles for us. We’ll wait and see, as we work with him more, where he fits into what we do.
“But I think we’re bringing a top player into the group and I’m delighted to add that competition a depth that we’re going to need next season.”
