Fantasy Premier League: The 10 most expensive FPL players in 2023-24
The 2023-24 Fantasy Premier League season is here and fans of the popular fantasy football app will be racking their brains to pick the best team possible ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
The newest edition of the FPL game has been live for several weeks, giving managers plenty of time to chop and change their 15 players before the gameweek one deadline rolls around on Friday, 11 August.
As always, managers will be looking to find the best bargain buys to steal a march in their mini-leagues, but picking the best players is usually a good starting point. The trouble is, the best players are normally the most expensive.

However, the most expensive players often prove to be invaluable throughout the season, as seen with Erling Haaland’s mesmeric campaign last year.
The Norwegian scored 36 Premier League goals in his debut campaign in England, which has earned him the outright lead in terms of the most expensive player in FPL 2023-24.
Haaland is priced at £14 million in the new game, which is a £2.5m increase from his starting price of £11.5m in 2022-23.
Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah are the joint-second most expensive players in this year’s FPL game; they both cost £12.5m.
Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne is fourth with a price of £10.5m, followed closely by Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) and Heung-Min Son (Tottenham Hotspur). They are both £9m.
Bruno Fernandes and Arsenal pair Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are both £8.5m, while Trent Alexander-Arnold is the most expensive defender in this year’s game, with a price of £8m. He is the 10th most expensive player in FPL 2023-24.
