Serie A superstar 'open' to joining Liverpool
Juventus star Federico Chiesa is open to a move to Premier League giants Liverpool, according to reports in Italy.
The 25-year-old made just 21 Serie appearances last year, with only six of them coming from the start. That was in part due to seven different injury niggles, but his playing time was mostly limited by Massimiliano Allegri’s preferred system.
Furthermore, Chiesa reportedly has a fractious relationship with Juve manager Allegri and this has caused him to look for a summer move.

However, according to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Liverpool have reignited their interest in Chiesa - after being linked with the Italian back in 2021. Furthermore, the Euro 2020 star would be open to a move to Anfield if the Reds were to submit a bid, according to the report.

Chiesa to Liverpool?
Chiesa would become Jurgen Klopp’s third summer signing after securing deals for Brighton & Hove Albion’s Alexis Mac Allister and RB Leipzig’s Dominik Szobolszlai if Liverpool are serious about pursuing him.
The Reds are also linked with Southampton and Belgium starlet Romeo Lavia amid interest in both Fabinho and Jordan Henderson from Saudi Arabia.
Fabinho is the subject of a €46.6m (£40m) bid from Al-Ittihad, who have already signed Karim Benzema from Real Madrid, N’Golo Kante from Chelsea and Jota from Celtic so far this summer.
On the other hand, Henderson has been offered an eye-watering €815,000 (£700,000) per week salary to join Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq, although the Saudi Pro League outfit have not yet reached Liverpool’s asking price for the England international.
