Mason Greenwood: Fabrizio Romano drops Ten Hag update on Man Utd star
Manchester United are expected to announce their decision around Mason Greenwood on August 14, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist tweeted that the club will be making their decision public - over whether to loan, keep, or let go of the striker - next month.
It’s thought that Erik ten Hag will not be responsible for the decision and that it will be up to the club. The announcement will come before Man Utd's opening Premier League game of the season against Wolves.

There have been a number of serious charges against Greenwood, including attempted rape and assault, which were dropped on 2 February.
The Crown Prosecution Service stated that key witnesses had withdrawn and that it meant there was ‘no longer a realistic prospect of conviction’.
Man Utd then launched their own investigation and he has not been available for selection for the club’s pre-season tour of the States.
Greenwood has not been used at the club's Carrington training ground, either.

Erik ten Hag’s position
When Erik ten Hag was quizzed about Greenwood and his future, he replied:: "It’s a club decision. Of course, I have said my ideas and opinions but it’s a club decision. We all have to accept that."
It comes after Wayne Rooney urged Greenwood to leave Old Trafford. He told The Athletic: “It leaves Mason Greenwood in a position where he is stuck. So for Mason, it’s a bad position to be in because I’m sure he just wants to play football.

“But for the club, its image and ensuring they make the right decisions, it’s almost a catch-22. I think the best thing for Mason now is to get out of the club and go and develop somewhere else. He needs to get back to playing because it has been a long time.
“With everything that has happened and how long the internal investigation has taken, it’s probably got to a place now where Mason just needs to go and play and to try and get his career back on track.”
