Manchester United transfer target Harry Kane has no intention of joining Paris Saint-Germain, but the Tottenham Hotspur star hasn't ruled out Bayern Munich.

Kane was United's top transfer target heading into the summer transfer window, with No.9 a gaping hole in Erik ten Hag's side since Cristiano Ronaldo's exit to Al-Nassr last winter.

Marcus Rashford scored 30 goals in all competitions last season, but does his best work from the left wing, and United hope that he and Kane can dovetail at Old Trafford as they do for England.

But United's budget for this summer's transfer window was only £120 million due to FFP, and most of that is accounted for with the signings of Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Zion Suzuki.

That has allowed Bayern to steal in, with PSG also interested in the England captain's services. Bayern have seen two bids rejected by Spurs, and Paris have the greater financial muscle, but Kane doesn't fancy French football.

Kane has 'no interest' in PSG'

"Harry Kane has no interest in joining Paris Saint-Germain this summer, leaving Tottenham facing a straight fight with Bayern Munich to keep hold of the striker," reports The Telegraph's Matt Law.

"PSG have been heavily linked with Kane in recent days, but it is understood that the England captain would turn down an approach from the French club."

Long-time Bayern president Uli Hoeness, who is still on the club's board, recently discussed how confident he was of the club securing Kane's services this summer, but it is understood his preference would be to stay in England, where he has Alan Shearer's Premier League goal record in sight.

United now need to sell players before they buy, though. The Red Devils are hoping to offload Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay among seven others this summer, but bids have been slow thus far.
