Andre Onana’s Man Utd debut date revealed
Manchester United's deal to sign Andre Onana from Inter Milan is now just a matter of time, with numerous reports that the Cameroon international goalkeeper already has a flight booked for him for the club’s US tour.
Onana was not named in Man Utd’s travelling party on Wednesday, which Erik ten Hag declared after beating Lyon 1-0 in Edinburgh the previous afternoon thanks to a goal from Donny van de Beek.
The 27-year-old is thought to be just hours away from formalising a move worth €52.5 million but multiple reports indicate that his flight to the US is already booked.

When will Andre Onana make his Man Utd debut?
Onana could make his debut for Manchester United against Arsenal on Saturday in East Rutherford, New Jersey, according to The Telegraph.
Matej Kovar was used between the sticks against Lyon at Murrayfield, but the 23-year-old Czech Republic U21 international is not thought to be in Ten Hag’s plans for the season ahead, with another goalkeeper expected to arrive to challenge Onana. It is thought this could be Japan international Zion Suzuki.
Ten Hag wanted to get his key signings in for the start of pre-season training, but the stalling Man Utd takeover meant this was not possible.

The former Ajax manager is clearly eager to integrate his new players as much as possible ahead of the new season, with this evidenced by the fact that Mason Mount has started both of United’s friendlies so far this summer.
As soon as Onana is available, he is therefore liable to be given significant minutes in order to build an understanding with those around him.
After playing Arsenal, Man Utd have matches against Wrexham, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Lens and Club Athletic before their Premier League campaign begins.
Onana’s competitive debut is likely to come on 14 August as Man Utd begin their league season at home against Wolves.
