Man Utd captain Fernandes FUMES at Red Devils legend after 'disgrace' comments
New Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes will refuse to be interviewed by Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville next season, according to sensational reports.
Neville, 48, made 602 appearances as a player at Old Trafford and won 30 trophies during that time, but he has previously branded Fernandes as a “disgrace” and The Sun have reported that the Portuguese international will refuse to talk to the former defender during post-match interviews.
Neville’s comments about Fernandes came after Man Utd’s humiliating 7-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield last campaign, with the Sky Sports pundit describing the midfielder as “embarrassing”, “a shambles”, and “a disgrace” for his overall demeanour during the game.

At the time, Fernandes was wearing the captain’s armband, but he was only performing that role due to the fact that Harry Maguire was not included in the starting XI by Erik ten Hag.
However, the former Ajax manager has now stripped Maguire of the captaincy and Fernandes has been appointed on a full-time basis. After the decision was made, “he [Maguire] gave me congratulations and he said he is really happy for me,” Fernandes told reporters.
“I understand his position is not the best at the moment. It has to be difficult for him but he came and said congratulations to me and I am happy about that because we have always had a good relationship.”

Fernandes refuses to speak to Neville
Fernandes is expected to be required to partake in more pre and post-match interviews after being named as the permanent Man Utd captain, but the Sun say he will not speak to Neville.
They report that Fernandes has not forgotten Neville’s criticism of his actions and will not be willing to conduct interviews with Sky Sports if the former Man Utd defender is the one asking questions.
Fernandes scored 14 goals in all competitions last season, while he also provided 15 assists as Man Utd won the Carabao Cup to clinch their first piece of silverware since 2017.
