Federico Chiesa: Juventus ready to sell to Man Utd
Manchester United are prepared to battle arch-rivals Liverpool in the race to sign Federico Chiesa from Juventus.
The versatile Italy forward – who helped his country to glory at Euro 2020 – has also been linked with a move to a Newcastle.
And with Juve reportedly aiming to make €140m in profit this summer, Chiesa could be one of a number of big names the Serie A giants look to offload.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Man Utd are very much in the running for Chiesa – who is said to be available for €50m (£43.3m).
The 25-year-old has two years left to run on his contract with Juve, who he joined from Fiorentina three years ago – initially on loan, before completing a €42.5m permanent switch.
Chiesa finished last season strongly, making four goal contributions in his final five appearances of the campaign – having been sidelined for the majority of 2022 after rupturing his ACL.

The second in a series of Serie A signings?
And his adaptability could make him a great asset to Erik ten Hag’s side: he’s able to operate from either flank or as a second striker.
Nonetheless, a new number nine remains a top priority for United, who have yet to replace Cristiano Ronaldo following his acrimonious departure back in November.
Wout Weghorst came in on loan from Burnley to plug the gap from January until the end of 2022/23, but the big Dutchman never seemed likely to be the long-term solution to that particular need.
Rasmus Hojlund now looks set to move to Old Trafford, though, with the prodigious Atalanta striker reportedly already agreeing personal terms with the 13-time Premier League champions.
