Fred transfer dream BRUTALLY shot down by manager who was RIGHT about Pogba
Manchester United midfielder Fred is expected to leave the club before the end of the transfer window, but the Brazil international will not be making a move to Lazio.
The Serie A club have been linked with a move for the 30-year-old but have moved quickly to shoot down the rumours.
Fred is one of the players to have slid down the pecking order at Old Trafford since the arrival of manager Erik ten Hag and is very much on the transfer market.

Premier League rivals Fulham have previously looked at him, but interest has since emerged from Galatasaray, who appear to be favourites to land the former Shakhtar Donetsk star after a shocking statement from Lazio that effectively ended their interest in the player.
“I was prepared to open talks with Man United and bid for Fred, but Maurizio Sarri told me no — he doesn’t want Fred,” Lazio president Claudio Lotito told Il Messaggero.

Sarri rejected Pogba's BEGGING
Sarri is best known in Premier League circles for his explosive one-season stay at Chelsea, which started with him going 12 matches undefeated and ended with him winning the Europa League, with a whole lot of frustration in between times.
When Sarri was Juventus head coach in 2019, Tuttosport reported that former Man Utd midfielder Paul Pogba personally took it upon himself to phone Sarri and beg him to re-sign him for the Turin club.
It would be three years later before the France international ultimately returned to Turin, with Sarri’s instincts not to sign the midfielder proved correct as Pogba has managed to play 101 matches in all competitions in four seasons since, scoring just eight goals.
Sarri was correct once about an unhappy Manchester United star, and only time will tell if he was correct to so brutally shut down Lazio’s hopes of landing Fred.
