Man Utd Transfer News Today: Hojlund deal UNDER THREAT as Romano reveals MAJOR competition
Man Utd's chase to sign Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund promises to be complicated by Paris Saint-Germain, who are attempting to hijack their deal for the Danish international.
The Red Devils' interest in Hojlund has coincided with PSG's decision to remove Kylian Mbappe from the first-team squad and they are currently looking to offload him.
PSG have now turned their focus onto Hojlund too, albeit as a Plan B should they fail to land Harry Kane.

According to L’Equipe, Hojlund has now agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 champions. Furthermore, PSG have offered €50 million to Atalanta for the player.
This is likely to be knocked back by the Serie A club, who have already had a €50m plus €10m proposal from Man Utd on the table.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that PSG are now interested, but stated that: "Man Utd have scheduled a new round of talks with Atalanta for Hojlund. PSG are pushing, but their current bid falls short of Atalanta's expectations. Man Utd remain the favourites and are the player's priority.

Pavard wanted by Man Utd
According to Calciomercato, Benjamin Pavard is still wanted by Man Utd, Manchester City and Juventus. The Frenchman could leave Bayern Munich this summer, with the Bavarians pushing to sign Kyle Walker having already added Kim min-Jae.
Erik ten Hag is reportedly a long-time admirer of the versatile defender, yet the Dutchman has had different transfer priorities until now. The pursuit of Hojlund, and then Sofyan Amrabat, could mean Pavard slips away.
Ighalo offers insight into Ronaldo's Saudi decision
Former Manchester United and Al-Hilal striker Odion Ighalo has revealed that going to Saudi Arabia is all about the money, despite what some footballers claim.
Speaking to OmaSportsTV, Ighalo said: "When you are young, yes, you play for passion. Back then, you don't care about money."
"But at my age, I am in the final stretch of my career - I don't know if it will be one, two years or when God will tell me to stop, I know it won't be more than three years- I've played for passion all my life, now it's for money.
"I'm not one of those players who come and say: 'I play for passion'. Brother, it's money. At the end of the day, it's money. I see the people who are going to Arabia - great footballers."
"Is Ronaldo still playing out of passion? Ronaldo has earned 100 times more than I have in my entire life and yet he went to Saudi Arabia. 'Did he do that out of passion?' No, it's for money, bro!"
