Arsenal have already spent £200million to bring in Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber, but they must move on some of the squad members to ensure further funds for targets this summer window.
Talks have taken place between Chelsea and Kudus’ side now and the player is hopeful of making a move to west London ahead of the new season.
No offer has been forthcoming so far and Ajax have set a price tag of around £40million for the 22-year-old. Man Utd are also admirers of Kudus - manager Erik ten Hag has his eye on him if the club fail to secure the signing of Rasmus Hojlund.
