Bayern Munich's Kane DEADLINE passes TONIGHT
Tottenham Hotspur must accept Bayern Munich's latest Harry Kane offer tonight (August 4) or risk losing the player for nothing next year.
The Bavarians have been courting the Spurs legend for weeks, but a lot of progress regarding a move has not been made, truth be told. That is because of Daniel Levy. The notoriously difficult negotiator is playing hardball over his club's star man.
Kane is out of contract next summer and there have been no indications that he is prepared to extend his stay in north London. A move this summer is therefore the ideal option for everyone involved and Levy recognises that. Though he has no intention to sell to Premier League rivals, he would be open to letting Kane leave for Bavaria - at the right price.

Bayern have thus far been reluctant to meet Spurs' asking price, believed to be around €100 million, but they have once again submitted an offer in hopes of convincing Levy to soften his stance. As part of the offer, they also gave Tottenham a deadline.
Deadline passes tonight
That is at least according to The Telegraph, which writes that Bayern Munich "have set a deadline of midnight on Friday for Tottenham Hotspur to accept their latest offer for Harry Kane."
In other words, if Spurs don't accept the offer, Bayern will move on to other targets in search of their new number nine. As for Kane, it is believed that he will run down his contract and leave for free next summer.

Bayern and Spurs bigwigs met on Monday for face-to-face talks, but these negotiations ultimately ended in deadlock despite the Bavarians coming away from discussions feeling optimistic about being able to strike a deal. Despite this, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel will "accept defeat" if no agreement between the two clubs can be reached.
