Aubameyang issues social media DIG at Chelsea after summer transfer
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has issued a social media dig at his former club Chelsea following Hakim Ziyech’s move to Galatasaray.
Aubameyang, 34, left the Blues to join Marseille on a free transfer earlier this summer after a disappointing 2022-23 campaign at Stamford Bridge.
The Gabon international scored just three goals in 21 appearances for the west London club after his €12 million move from Barcelona and left the club after just one season.

He has already netted twice for Marseille - with both coming in the same game against Panathinaikos - and has now taken a dig at Chelsea after Ziyech’s departure was confirmed.
The Moroccan was on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain in January before the move collapsed, while a transfer to the Saudi Pro League also fell through after he failed a medical.
However, the 30-year-old has now completed his move away from Stamford Bridge, with Galatasaray paying a €3.5m loan fee to sign Ziyech for the 2023-24 season, while they have a €2.8m option to buy him permanently next summer should they wish.

Ziyech was unveiled after Galatasaray’s 2-0 win over Trabzonspor and could make his debut for the Turkish Super Lig club against Molde in the Champions League play-offs on Wednesday.
Aubameyang takes a dig at Chelsea
After a number of failed attempts to leave Chelsea, Ziyech has finally secured a move away from the club, which prompted Aubameyang to post on Instagram Stories: “All the best my bro. Free Hakim,” followed by a series of emojis including a laughing face and a heart.
Galatasaray have enjoyed a busy transfer window so far, with Mauro Icardi, Edin Dzeko, Wilfried Zaha, Kerem Demirbay, Cedric Bakambu and Angelino among the 11 players to have joined the club this summer.
They have, however, lost Nicolo Zaniolo to Aston Villa on a season-long loan deal.
