Chelsea and West Ham told transfer target wants a move
Chelsea and West Ham United have been informed that one of their top transfer targets is keen for a move in the current window.
Elye Wahi, 20, has jumped onto several Premier League teams' radar after a fine season for Montpellier in 2022-23.
The young forward smashed 19 goals in 33 Ligue 1 games in just his second full term at senior level, including an incredible four-goal haul in the space of five minutes during a pulsating 5-4 defeat to Lyon.

Those two sides take each other on again this weekend, and Wahi is expected to feature after coming off the bench in Montpellier's season opener.
But according to coach Michel Der Zakarian, his time at the club may be coming to a close.
"He has the desire to leave. If we don't get the right offer, he will be with us," he signalled to reporters.
"Against Le Havre, he made a great return in the last half hour."
Who will sign Wahi?
Chelsea had appeared to be favourites for Wahi's signature, but he is reluctant to return to France on loan with Strasbourg should that be the outcome of that transfer.
He may find first-team opportunities easier to come by at West Ham, who are still looking to bolster their forward line after being held by Bournemouth in August's Premier League opener.
