Plus, Manchester United sealed three deals and Chelsea bid for yet another South American wonderkid. There's plenty to cover, so let's jump right in.

Liverpool agree Gravenberch deal

Liverpool and Bayern have agreed on a €40 million transfer of Dutch starlet Ryan Gravenberch.

He is undeniably a good player, but is he the solution to the Reds' midfield issues? After all, he's not a defensive midfielder...

This deal will have significant knock-on effects and could even enable hated rivals Man Utd to finally sign Sofyan Amrabat.

Man Utd seal three transfers

Dean Henderson has been sold which means that Altay Bayindir will soon be announced as the new backup goalkeeper, but more importantly, Man Utd have found their Luke Shaw injury replacement - and it's not Marc Cucurella.

There could be three more exits at United but the club is desperately scrambling to prevent one of them.

They have also been handed a lifeline in their hopes of signing Sofyan Amrabat.

But striking a deal could still prove tough, in part due to their sloppy recruitment this summer.

Chelsea's wheeling and dealing

There were suggestions that the Cole Palmer signing from Man City would be Chelsea's final deal of the summer, but the Blues had other ideas - they have submitted a €21m bid for yet another Brazilian wonderkid.

Moreover, there are plenty of players who could still leave the Blues, including Conor Gallagher.

Callum Hudson-Odoi too appears to be on his way out as several clubs are fighting tooth and nail for his signature, believe it or not.

Trevoh Chalobah, however, may not leave Stamford Bridge after all.

Barcelona madness

Fabrizio Romano has promised 'Barcelona madness' for Deadline Day.

The Blaugrana are still desperately trying to engineer deals for the two Joaos, Felix and Cancelo.

Mbappe hint?

PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi may have dropped a Kylian Mbappe transfer hint when he said that there are 'still 24 hours' left where anything could happen.

Would it be smart to let him walk now after he has clearly already influenced PSG's summer business?

Transfer news

Finally, let's finish up with some transfer news from around the world. Real Madrid star Toni Kroos has once again laid into players who decide to head to Saudi Arabia in the prime of their careers.

Man Utd are in talks with a Benfica wonderkid known as 'Bruno Fernandes 2.0.'

Erling Haaland has admitted that he would be open to following in Lionel Messi's MLS footsteps one day.

Sporting director Edu has admitted that Arsenal still need to balance their squad.

In order to fix this, the Gunners are targeting an exciting centre-back signing.

Man Utd target Nicolas Tagliafico has slammed 'fake news' regarding a potential Lyon exit.

And lastly, after failing to strike a deal for Donny van de Beek, Lorient have turned to a Chelsea flop to reinforce their midfield.
