Chiesa was thought to be looking for a Premier League move this summer but it looks like he will be staying with the Old Lady for this season at least.
The Italian attacker has an Estimated Transfer Value of €20.5million, while his contract ends with the Turin-based side in 2025.
Sane, meanwhile, comes with bags of Premier League experience, having spent four years with Manchester City before joining Bayern in 2020 for an initial €45million with add-ons rising to €60m. The German’s ETV stands at €49.3m, while he also has just two years left on his current deal.
Liverpool targets for next year
This summer, Liverpool’s primary focus has been their midfield. Klopp wanted to address the issue before the end of last season, bringing in Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig, and Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton, with the club matching both of their release clauses.

After Jordan Henderson and Fabinho left for clubs in the Saudi Pro League, Liverpool signed Wataru Endo from German outfit VfB Stuttgart. It is thought that after another midfielder comes in, they will look to bolster their backline.
Meanwhile, we understand that the Reds do like Ryan Gravenberch, but Bayern have stressed that they will not sell without a replacement. The midfield pushing to leave could change all that, however.
The attack will be addressed in the subsequent January window or the summer of 2024, given the fact that Liverpool made the signings of Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo recently.
