Man Utd transfer target MISSES training as bids rejected
New England Revolution goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic, a rumoured target for Manchester United, has reportedly missed training with the MLS club after they turned down multiple bids from Europe.
Petrovic joined the Revolution from Serbian outfit Cukaricki last year and has quickly become hot property.
The 23-year-old – who has won two caps for Serbia – is enjoying a fine 2023 season for Bruce Arena’s side, who currently sit second in the MLS’ Eastern Conference.

And it would appear that Petrovic is trying to force an exit, after he seemingly decided to sit out training in the wake of those rejected offers.
The bids are said to have come from Nantes of Ligue 1 and Nottingham Forest – the latter of whom are still keen sign Dean Henderson from Man Utd after he excelled on at the City Ground last term.
Our in-house Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) model currently rates Petrovic – who has kept seven league clean sheets so far this term – at €1.9m (£1.6m).
The Revolution seem unlikely to let him leave just yet, though: the MLS transfer window closes tomorrow (August 2) – although clubs can still sign free agents until September 13.

All change between the sticks at Old Trafford
United have already made their major ‘keeper signing of the summer, bringing in Andre Onana from Inter Milan for €52.5m (£47m), but there could well be multiple further changes in that department.
The 13-time Premier League champions had been strongly linked with Zion Suzuki of Urawa Red Diamonds, but no deal for the Japan international has come to fruition as yet.
Meanwhile, youngster Matej Kovar is reportedly being eyed up by Aston Villa – while veteran back-up Tom Heaton has been linked with a move to Premier League newcomers Luton Town this transfer window.
