Harry Maguire could finally leave Manchester United after a deal was agreed for the defender to join West Ham for £30 million.

West Ham had seen offers of £20m and a joint bid with Scott McTominay fail but Maguire will now travel to London for talks over a move following the successful offer.

United could be forced into a £10m payoff to convince Maguire to make the move, with West Ham unlikely to match his wages at Old Trafford.

United eye Maguire replacements

United are considering three players to replace Maguire – Jean Clair Todibo, Edmund Tapsoba and Benjamin Pavard.

Todibo is the player United prefer but Nice’s asking price could prove a stumbling block, while Pavard could be the most likely incoming due to his relatively low asking price due to his deal expiring next summer.

Pavard would cost in the region of £30m, with Tapsoba not being considered in the same category due to Leverkusen’s unwillingness to sell.

Bailly set to depart

Eric Bailly will also leave United imminently after entering talks with Besiktas, however United may have to pay to terminate his contract.

Van de Beek in talks over exit

Donny van de Beek is another player who will likely face the exit door, with Real Sociedad in talks over a move, likely to be a loan with the option or obligation to buy.

Fred close to United sale

United will continue to press with outgoings, continuing with midfielder Fred who is negotiating with teams in Saudi Arabia and with Fulham after seeing a move to Galatasaray collapse.

Weghorst finds new team

Wout Weghorst has joined Bundesliga side Hoffenheim on a season-long loan from Burnley, having spent last season on loan at United.
