Man Utd Transfer News Today: Pavard WANTS in says Romano as Greenwood reveals 'PREFERENCE'
Bayern Munich's French international star Benjamin Pavard is keen to move to the Premier League this summer, and would love to join Man Utd.
That was revealed on Thursday by ace transfer guru Fabrizio Romano as the Reds continue to look to bolster their squad.
Any move for Pavard is likely to be preceded by exits for existing players - notably England star Harry Maguire.
Maguire is reportedly a target for West Ham, along with Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay.
Greenwood reveals 'PREFERENCE' with decision pending
Mason Greenwood still awaits a decision from Man Utd on his future, but there are at least some pointers as to where it may lie.
According to The Express, the talented young forward would be reluctant to relocate to another country.
Greenwood, who has a young family now, is waiting for the club to decide if he can return to Old Trafford or will need to move away.
Maguire replacements REVEALED
Fabrizio Romano has revealed which players Manchester United will target once Harry Maguire leaves for West Ham.
The erstwhile Man Utd captain finally looks to be on his way out after months of speculation. Having initially rejected the Hammers' approach for Maguire, United have now agreed a deal in principle with West Ham for a £30 million transfer. Personal terms will reportedly not be an issue.
Once this move is under wraps, United will dip into the market to bring in a new centre-back, something that has been rumoured for some time, with Erik ten Hag keen to add cover more suited to his style in case Raphael Varane or Lisandro Martinez are unavailable.
It appears that Erik ten Hag, a former Bayern coach, is quite fond of the Bundesliga as all three targets have ties to the German top division. Indeed, he recently said that he believes the Bundesliga to be a good league to prepare players for the step up to the Premier League.
According to Romano, Ten Hag is keen on former Barcelona and Schalke man Jean-Clair Todibo, Bayern star Benjamin Pavard and Leverkusen's Edmond Tapsoba.
Man Utd drop major Mason Greenwood HINT
Manchester United have dropped the strongest suggestion yet that they are seriously considering a return for Mason Greenwood as he fights to regain fitness after 18 months out of the game, while former Old Trafford No.9 Wout Weghorst has found a new club.
Man Utd centre forwards have been involved in a persistent soap opera since Greenwood was charged with attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour and assault at the beginning of 2022.
These were subsequently dropped but in the interim, the Red Devils have seen Cristiano Ronaldo depart following an incredible broadside on the club, with Weghorst stepping in as his successor in an unsuccessful six-month loan from Burnley.

Ahead of the 2023/24 season, Greenwood remains frozen out of the picture at Man Utd following an internal investigation, the result of which is set to be made public later this week.
In the meantime, Greenwood is doing personal training sessions with a former junior coach in public parks.
United do, at least, seem open to the 21-year-old once-capped England international returning to the fold, with the Manchester Evening News reporting that the club are receiving data from these sessions.
Man Utd Amrabat plan REVEALED
Sofyan Amrabat is Manchester United's number one priority target now that Rasmus Hojlund has been signed, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Before the Red Devils can proceed with a concrete offer for the Fiorentina star, however, they will have to seal some outgoings first. Indeed, the Italian transfer expert has mentioned that talks over four deals are scheduled.
West Ham's double swoop
Though Man Utd rejected West Ham's £30 million offer for Scott McTominay as well as their approach for Harry Maguire, negotiations between the two clubs over a potential double swoop remain ongoing.

Van de Beek latest as Spanish talks progress
Talks over Donny van de Beek's loan move to Real Sociedad are also continuing, and they are bound to pick up speed after the Dutchman was hooked at halftime during United's friendly with Athletic Club in Dublin.
He was replaced by Hannibal Mejbri, who has previously been heavily linked with a loan move to Premier League new boys Luton Town. His performance against Bilbao may give United second thoughts about sending him away, though. He could be an ideal replacement for Van de Beek.
Fred move under threat but options available
Fred's move to Galatasaray has hit yet another stumbling block as United still refuse to budge from their valuation. The deal could be off, but there are suggestions that Galatasaray are not yet ready to give up.
According to Fabrizio Romano, several other clubs have also expressed their interest in the Brazilian and are in negotiations with the Manchester outfit.
Todibo contact
United are in contact with the camp of Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo and they see him as their priority target at centre-back. They will, however, only attempt to engineer a transfer if Harry Maguire leaves.
Maguire hijack
With an agreement yet to be reached between Man Utd and West Ham over the transfer of Harry Maguire, Everton may be tempted to swoop in for the former club captain, according to The Independent.

Henderson deal still on
Nottingham Forest are on the verge of completing the signing of American shot-stopper Matt Turner from Arsenal, but this will not put an end to their pursuit of Dean Henderson.
Forest are keen to sign both goalkeepers, according to Fabrizio Romano. They will enter into a new round of talks with United in the coming days.
Pellistri set for new deal
Facundo Pellistri could soon be fitted with a new long-term contract, reports Fabrizio Romano. Moreover, Dutch side Twente are trying to take the Uruguayan on loan for the upcoming season.
