EXCLUSIVE: West Ham could make return for Man Utd duo
West Ham could revisit moves for Manchester United’s Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay, FootballTransfers is told.
The pair were the subject of failed offers by the London side earlier this summer, but there is an anticipation that both might be looked at again in the final days of the transfer window.
West Ham are looking at a possible loan move for Maguire while an offer could be made for McTominay.

As revealed, Erik ten Hag still wants both players to exit and has been continuing to push for a move for them. Man Utd would rather make any deal permanent and would only ship the duo on if they were to receive money in return that could go back into bringing fresh faces in.
Man Utd targets
Ryan Gravenberch and Soyfan Amrabat remain on the wishlist as a possible McTominay replacement. Khephren Thuram is another that Man Utd like but a move would prove too costly at this stage.
Jean Clair-Todibo is one who could replace Maguire and it’s thought that a deal could be struck for around £30m.
David Moyes is a huge fan of both Maguire and McTominay and believes they could offer the Premier League experience needed to blend in the club’s recent additions of players from abroad, such as Mohammed Kudus, Edson Alvarez, and Konstantinos Mavropanos.

Man Utd won’t sanction any deal if they feel a replacement would not be able to be brought in.
An interesting element to wanting Gravenberch from Bayern Munich is that the German side have an interest in McTominay, meaning a deal between both clubs could be a straight-up swap deal.
Man Utd face Arsenal on Sunday, having won their first two Premier League games. It’s thought that Rasmus Hojlund could make his debut in the match.
