Gravenberch does not want to lose his place in the Netherlands international team in the months before Euro 2024 and is considering his options to play more.

Man Utd and Liverpool are both in the market for midfielders of his type and, according to De Telegraaf, the two clubs have made their interest in the player known.

Although it is still questionable whether Bayern Munich will cooperate in a transfer, it is as clear as day for Gravenberch that he has to play more. Whether that is in Bavaria or the Premier League, the midfielder hopes to play more this season than the 937 minutes he managed for FCB last season.

According to the newspaper, Gravenberch is therefore flattered by the interest from the English giants.

The midfielder previously worked successfully with Erik ten Hag at Ajax and knows that Liverpool were already targeting him a year ago.

Gravenberch’s future at Bayern up for discussion

For both Man Utd and Liverpool it is now a matter of convincing Bayern Munich for a possible transfer. Presently, the Bundesliga champions are not eager to complete a permanent deal for the player, but that could change as the end of the transfer window rapid approaches.

During the last transfer meeting of the Bayern Munich board, the future of Gravenberch was discussed 'long and intensively'.

This is the latest proof that the 21-year-old right-sided star is having a hard time under head coach Thomas Tuchel and a departure, therefore, seems a real possibility.

According to the German outlet TZ , Liverpool have €30 million put aside to sign Gravenberch from Bayern Munich and the Reds see the Amsterdammer as an ideal alternative to Romeo Lavia, who preferred Chelsea to Liverpool.
