Chelsea and Liverpool target hints at Real Madrid EXIT

Federico Valverde has refused to rule out potentially leaving Real Madrid in the future.
The Uruguayan midfielder is a sought-after commodity, not only because he is a great player but also because until recently, he did not feature as much as a player of his quality ought to feature. This season, however, it has been a different story.
With veterans Toni Kroos and Luka Modric being phased out of the team, Valverde has earned himself a starting spot and he has paid back Carlo Ancelotti's faith in him, recently kickstarting Real Madrid's comeback in their hard-fought win over an impressive Real Sociedad team.

Yet despite his newfound importance to Los Blancos, Valverde acknowledged that he would be open to moving on in the future. Over the summer, the 25-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League where Liverpool and Chelsea were reportedly among his suitors.
Indeed, the Reds have been long-time admirers of Valverde and they will be heartened by his recent comments.

What did Valverde say?
Speaking after Real's win over their opponents from the Basque Country, Valverde addressed the reports linking him to a Premier League move: “Premier League offers? I have the possibility of playing for Real."
However, he did not completely close the door on a future exit. "The day I don't feel like that, I will probably look for another solution or Real itself will look for one for me."

The Uruguayan is under contract until 2027 and Chelsea were reportedly ready to bid €130 million for him before they signed Moises Caicedo, according to Spanish media, so he would not come cheap were he to leave.
Valverde will once again get a chance to impress on Wednesday (September 20) when Los Blancos host Bundesliga surprise package Union Berlin in the Champions League.
