Liverpool plan to replace Salah with Mbappe
Liverpool are considering making a massive offer for Kylian Mbappe in order to replace Mohamed Salah.
That is according to L’Equipe, who report that Mbappe is a very realistic possibility for Liverpool in 2024 if they decide to sell Salah this week.
Al-Ittihad are set to make a world record transfer offer of around €234 million for Liverpool superstar Salah.

Al-Ittihad already had a massive offer of €175m rejected by Liverpool last Thursday but are now set to go even higher.
Were Liverpool to accept, it would make Salah the most expensive player in football history.
It would also give Liverpool a burning pocket full of cash available to spend on replacements.
The Reds would not be able to sign anyone until January 2024 when the transfer window reopens.
But L’Equipe reports that Mbappe is being considered and the player himself would consider a transfer.
Mbappe’s admiration for PSG
Mbappe has been heavily linked with Liverpool on multiple occasions in the past.
The attacker has spoken openly of his admiration for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who shares a mutual appreciation for the PSG man and tried to sign him from Monaco in 2017.
Marca sensationally reported in June that Liverpool made a €300m bid for Mbappe.
The report claimed that the Reds were ready to pay €250m plus €50m in add-ons to sign the France attacker.
This didn’t eventually come to pass but Liverpool could now reignite their interest in Mbappe if they sell Salah.
Mbappe’s contract at PSG runs out at the end of the season and L’Equipe report that he will not extend his deal.
That means Liverpool could offer PSG a last-chance cash offer in January to entice a sale. Alternatively they could offer Mbappe a massive signing-on fee next summer and buy him as a free agent.
Real Madrid remain the favourites to sign Mbappe next summer but Liverpool are now a very viable alternative.
