Man Utd get Sancho message that changes everything

Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United has come into sharp focus in recent days.
Manager Erik ten Hag has criticised the player’s performance in training, which led to a sharp reply on social media from the former Borussia Dortmund player, who claimed he had been made to feel like a “scapegoat”.
Ten Hag is unlikely to look upon such an action favourably, particularly after Cristiano Ronaldo was released a year ago by mutual consent following a similar attack on the manager via a television interview.

Sancho’s situation, meanwhile, is complicated by the accusations levelled at Antony, who strenuously denies them. The Brazilian, though, is unlikely to feature in the immediate future, leaving Ten Hag and Man Utd short in the wide areas.
Even if Sancho, who joined the Old Trafford club for €85 million, remains an active member of the Man Utd squad in the short term, in the longer term he is liable to be a player earmarked for the exit by the former Ajax boss.
One of the options that was suggested for Sancho was a potential switch back to Borussia Dortmund, either via a permanent transfer or a loan deal.

Dortmund’s Sancho hopes dashed
Sport Bild, though, reports that such a move is impossible because the Bundesliga side cannot afford to match the player’s Man Utd salary.
“BVB are monitoring Jadon Sancho but the mega salary of £300,000 per week is simply too much for Watzke & Co,” it reports. “In addition, Dortmund no longer have any money for transfers.”
This is a familiar handicap for the Red Devils, who were unable to find a buyer for Harry Maguire in the summer in part because of his high wages. Indeed, the club’s inability to sell players has been partly driven by the salaries that their players earn, with teams unwilling or unable to match such sums.
In this case, Dortmund remain interested in Sancho, but a transfer is not realistic as the situation stands.
