Man Utd star blamed for Sancho's struggles
Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford has been blamed for Jadon Sancho’s failings at the club.
The winger has not found his best form at Old Trafford following his £73million move from Borussia Dortmund and more recently has become tangled in a war of words with Erik ten Hag.
Former Man Utd head coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has spoken out on the player’s situation, saying that it could be the brilliance of Rashford last season that left him out.

“We haven’t seen the best of him. I hope we do, but he prefers to play left wing… where Marcus plays,” Solskjaer told The Athletic.
Sancho has scored just two times in his first two seasons and now plays second fiddle to Antony, who was brought in last summer from Ajax.
Shearer wades in
Meanwhile, Alan Shearer, the Newcastle legend, has spoken out on the player’s current predicament, saying that Rashford is likely keeping the former BVB star out of his favoured position.

“The only thing I would say is – and we have said it before – for him to come out and publicly say that about Jadon Sancho. He must have been on his final call, and his final chance,” Shearer said to The Rest Is Football YouTube show.
“I don’t know what’s gone on, but you [always] hear different rumours about players being late, not turning up for training and missing a team bus. That in itself is unacceptable.
“How many times has it happened? We’re not sure, but for him to come out and publicly say about Jadon Sancho, there must have been several things that have gone on in the dressing room.”
Indeed, Ten Hag went public with his unhappiness with Sancho and his conduct in training, something which the player vehemently denies.
Sancho now has an uncertain future with the club ahead of the January window. Newcastle and Barcelona are thought to be keen on the player.
