Man Utd plot January SPENDING-SPREE with DOUBLE transfer
Manchester United are interested in signing Serge Gnabry and Jose Maria Gimenez, according to Spanish media.
This nascent season has thus far not gone to plan for Erik ten Hag and the Red Devils. In light of this, the Dutchman and company are already planning ahead to January and they have big plans indeed, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
With both Antony and Jadon Sancho absent from United's first-team squad for very different reasons, the Manchester giants are short on options for the right wing. While confident that internal solutions like Facundo Pellistri and Alejandro Garnacho can adequately deputise for the missing big-money signings, Ten Hag would still like to bring in a more established player in that position.

United recently rejected the chance to sign free-agent winger Anwar El Ghazi and they are instead targeting a more high-profile option, claims the above-mentioned outlet.
United want duo
The man in question is Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry. The ex-Arsenal man has so far only played a peripheral role for the Bavarians this term and could be an attainable target if this trend continues despite his contract running until 2026.
A figure of €60 million is quoted as being enough to lure the 28-year-old back to England, but there are doubts that Man Utd could afford him given the ongoing uncertainty over the takeover and Financial Fair Play.

The same outlet has also linked United with Atletico Madrid defender Jose Maria Gimenez. Injury troubles have meant that the hype surrounding the Uruguayan has died down in recent years and that he could become available with Atletico ready to cut their losses.
His contract expires in 2025 and the report claims that his future is 'uncertain.' Besides United, Chelsea and Inter Milan are also said to be interested in the 28-year-old.
