Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are all tracking Ousmane Dembele ahead of the January transfer window, despite his summer move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Dembele, 26, joined PSG from Barcelona for €50 million in August, but The Mirror have reported that his slow start to life in France has attracted interest from the Premier League.

The forward has made five appearances for his new club, but is still yet to register a goal or an assist in PSG colours.

As a result, there have been some calls for Dembele to be dropped from the starting XI amid plenty of competition for places at the Parc des Princes.

Although Neymar and Lionel Messi both left PSG during the summer, Luis Enrique still has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal, especially in forward areas.

PSG’s summer business focused heavily on bolstering their attack, with Randal Kolo Muani (€90m), Bradley Barcola (€45m), Hugo Ekitke (€28.5m), Kang-in Lee (€22m), Marco Asensio (free) and Goncalo Ramos (loan) all joining in addition to Dembele.

Furthermore, the Parisians also triggered their €4m buy-back clause on Dutch star Xavi Simons, but he was subsequently loaned straight out to RB Leipzig for the 2023-24 campaign.

With Dembele under pressure to find his feet quickly in Paris, rumours of a January move away have already begun circulating.

Premier League interest in Dembele

According to The Mirror, Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham are “keeping a close eye” on Dembele.

All three clubs added to their forward line during the summer - Arsenal signed Kai Havertz, Tottenham added Brennan Johnson, Alejo Veliz and Manor Solomon, while West Ham brought in Mohamed Kudus - but they are seemingly keen on taking advantage of Dembele’s somewhat poor start at PSG.

The France international has a contract at the Parc des Princes until 2028 and The Mirror have reported that despite Premier League interest, PSG are unlikely to sell Dembele so soon after he joined.
