Real Madrid target Premier League boss to replace Ancelotti
Real Madrid’s hunt for a successor to Carlo Ancelotti continues to pick up speed, with the Spanish giants now looking at Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi to step into the hotseat.
Ancelotti will leave the Spanish capital in June to take command of the Brazil national team, leaving the spot at the Bernabeu vacant.
Already many names are being associated with the post, although Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso, a former Real Madrid player, appears to be leading the way.

According to Cadena SER, Brighton boss De Zerbi another alternative that Los Blancos are studying, given the excellent form that the Seagulls have shown under the Italian.
De Zerbi has performed an outstanding job at the AmEx Stadium since taking over a year ago from Graham Potter, who had departed for Chelsea. The Italian has not only built on Potter’s previous work, leading Brighton into Europe, he has made them one of the most watchable sides in the Premier League.
He has also been linked with the Stamford Bridge club in case Mauricio Pochettino fails there.

Who will be Real Madrid’s next manager?
It is stressed, meanwhile, that Real Madrid have not made a definitive decision on their next head coach.
Alonso appears to be leading the way because of the success he has experienced in the Bundesliga, while legendary former striker Raul is also associated with the post. Similarly, Los Blancos have also been tipped to look at Alvaro Arbeloa, although it is seen as unlikely that they would move for either of the two men currently in the institution.
Behind Alonso, De Zerbi appears to be second favourite, with the Brighton manager having gained many fans over the course of the last year for the exciting brand of football he has produced with an underdog by Premier League standards.
