Will Man Utd sack Ten Hag? Romano gives ‘100% guarantee’
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag finds his future the subject of rumour and speculation, with the former Ajax boss vulnerable to being sacked by the Old Trafford club.
A run of four defeats in five games has left the Man Utd boss under pressure, particularly because of the number of goals his side have conceded and the disappointing performances of many of the players he has brought to the club.
Fabrizio Romano, though, says that for now there is absolutely no prospect of the 53-year-old departing Old Trafford, even if they were to lose to Burnley in Saturday night’s big Premier League fixture.

Taking to his YouTube channel, Romano said: “There have been a lot of rumours about the Manchester United manager in recent hours and recent days. Many people mentioning that he’s not in control of the situation. I can guarantee to you that Erik ten Hag is taking care of everything at Manchester United.
“Erik ten Hag remains the crucial person at Manchester United. No one is considering him in doubt. The situation is 100% under control. He’s not at risk.
“Nothing is happening around the Dutch manager at the moment, the situation is completely quiet. Of course everyone at the club wants to get the best results and will keep pushing but there is no alert around Erik ten Hag. The situation remains very clear.”

Ten Hag under scrutiny
There is no doubt, though, that the pressure is building on Ten Hag, internally and externally.
Within the squad, there are increasing concerns over his man management, with the decision to exile Jadon Sancho after rebutting Ten Hag’s criticism reportedly a decision that has split the squad.
In addition to this, there are players who are starting to feel that the manager has favourites within the ranks who are immune from criticism.
Ten Hag is, therefore, in desperate need of his Man Utd side winning against Burnley.
